Publication: Participation and Privacy Perception in Virtual Environments: The Role of Sense of Community, Culture and Gender between Italian and Turkish
This research examines the relationship between our sense of community, participation and privacy in the online era. Using data from survey respondents in Italy and Turkey, the paper explores whether these perceptions differ according to culture or gender. It finds that Italian respondents perceive the concepts of privacy and participation more positively than their Turkish counterparts.
